According to Sky Sports, Wolverhampton Wanderers have agreed to a fee with AS Monaco of around £5 million for the transfer of Joao Moutinho. This stunning turn of events comes after Wolves have already signed several high-profile Portuguese players, as their larger than life deals in the transfer market continue to shock the football world.
The 31-year-old Euro 2016 winner would surely be viewed as the bargain of the summer, even if he’s only able to showcase half of his potential in the Premier League with the Midlands club. The deal would be for two years as Wolves attempt to establish themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the top flight, with many believing that they’re capable of challenging for a place in the top eight over the course of the next nine months.
Wolves will kick off their 2018/19 PL campaign against Everton, with a few more big names being expected to come through the doors of Molineux in the not so distant future
