Wolverhampton Wanderers are still not giving up their hopes of possibly playing in the UEFA Champions League. In fact, Nuno Espirito Santos’ side is not certain of Europa League football next season just yet, but it looks like the side from the Molineaux is in a really good position to end up there.
Whatever the case in the end, the Premier League side will be looking to improve their squad during the summer and they are looking for some good options on the market. One of those options is Weston McKennie, Schalke 04 midfielder who is reportedly on their shortlist. In fact, CBS Sports claim Wolves are leading the race to sign the US international.
The Bundesliga side might be forced to sell a 21-year-old midfielder who is on the rise, due to their financial problems and several Premier League sides are looking around. However, Wolves are leading the pack for the player currently valued at 20 million pounds.
