Wolves eager to make Otto move permanent

According to AS, Wolverhampton Wanderers are very eager to secure the signing of Jonny Otto on a permanent basis. The Midlands side, who are doing extremely well in the Premier League after gaining promotion from the Championship last season, brought Jonny to the club from Atletico Madrid on a season long loan.

Now, they’re at the point where they feel like they could land him on a permanent basis – although Atletico aren’t prepared to take any kind of loss on the defender. The Spanish giants paid £6.8 million to sign him from Celta Vigo less than six months ago, and while Wolves would likely have time to consider whether or not to make the move permanent with January being just a few months away, they’ll almost certainly be more than happy to pay a higher fee than that.

Jonny is one of many foreign stars who has made quite the impression at Molineux this season.
