“The right moment is at the end of the season. Until then, there is no point in thinking or speaking about it. It’s everybody’s choice and there are three parts involved: Wolves; the club whom owns him, Benfica and the player.”
These are the words of Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santo, who also took the time to confirm that the club have the first option on whether or not to buy Raul Jimenez on a permanent deal. Raul is currently on loan at Molineux from Benfica, with the 27 year old starting to get into something of a rhythm in the Premier League.
There’s been a lot of speculation that Wolves would have to fork out £30 million in order to bring him over to England on a permanent basis, but as we’ve seen in the past, Wolves certainly don’t seem to be shy when it comes to putting in major offers for top European stars.
