Wolves in for star youngster?

According to Birmingham Mail, Wolverhampton Wanderers will be joining fellow Premier League clubs Crystal Palace and Southampton in the race to sign Kemar Roofe. The Leeds United star has been turning heads all season long and it seemed like only a matter of time before some of the big boys would come sniffing around.

Of course, there’s an argument to be made that none of these three clubs fit into that description, and it’ll be interesting to see whether or not any of the big six come calling. Roofe is 25 years of age so he still has time to keep developing, although it certainly seems like his days of being dubbed as a ‘wonderkid’ are well and truly over.

Wolves have had a solid enough start to life back in the Premier League but they are in desperate need of some goalscorers, and with six goals already this season, Roofe fits into that description perfectly.
