According to a recent report from Tuttosport, superagent Jorge Mendes could attempt to orchestrate a deal that would see Wolverhampton Wanderers sign Napoli defender Faouzi Ghoulam – potentially during the summer transfer window.
Mendes has been at the heart of many big deals for Nuno Espirito Santo’s men in the last few years, and that trend looks set to continue.
Some have questioned whether or not his association with the club would mean bad things for the Midlanders in the long run, but either way, it doesn’t seem as if it’s going to change anytime soon.
One of the most noted criticisms of Wolves’ squad has been how small it is in size and what they’re planning on doing to rectify that in the summer. It actually doesn’t seem as if there’s going to be too much movement between now and the new campaign getting underway, but they certainly wouldn’t – or shouldn’t – say no to someone like Ghoulam.
