According to a recent report from Football Insider, Wolves are interested in trying to sign Leicester and Wales goalkeeper Danny Ward.
Ward has been able to make quite the impact for the Welsh this summer at the Euros and as a result, appears to be on the verge of a big move away from the Foxes. Whether or not that happens in the next few weeks remains to be seen but if Wales continue to have a strong showing at the tournament, anything is possible.
The key here for Wolves is that Rui Patricio looks set to depart with Roma showing a lot of interest in signing him. From there, it makes sense to get a replacement in, especially with the summer transfer window looming large.
Ward is ready to step up and be counted as a number one, whereas Wolverhampton Wanderers are desperate to rebuild under the guidance of Bruno Lage.
