According to a recent report from Marca, Wolverhampton Wanderers have opened talks to try and sign Espanyol forward Wu Lei. The Chinese star would have an obvious appeal for Wolves from a marketing standpoint given their growing influence in the Chinese market, but beyond that, he’s also an incredibly talented forward.
Wolves have a string of high profile strikers on the books at the club with Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota being the first two names that come to mind, but the question remains as to whether or not they’ll be the subject of big offers during the summer transfer window.
Many Wolves fans believe they need a bit more depth in their squad if they are to continue to compete in both the Premier League and Europa League between now and the end of the season, but up to this point, manager Nuno Espirito Santo has been able to manage his resources pretty well.
