West Bromwich Albion are looking to sell Salomon Rondon this summer. Although the Midlands club would definitely want to have the Venezuelan in Championship, that is far from realistic and a new Premier League move is on the cards for the robust striker.
Wolves are now the frontrunners in the race to him, report the Shropshire Star. A number of clubs have been linked with a move for the Venezuelan striker, who scored 15 goals on loan at Newcastle last season. His campaign at the St James’ Park was an impressive one, helping Magpies have a calm season, without real relegation battle
Rondon is believed to be in favour of a move to Molineux, although he also mentioned at the end of the season that he would like if Newcastle were to offer him a return for the next season. Rondon’s release clause is £16.5million and no real offers have been submitted yet.
