Wolverhampton Wanderers might be doing very well in Premier League this season and they might be known for signing Portuguese players due to their close links with the super-agent Jorge Mendes, but they are also thinking about their future. Team from the Molineaux is looking to bring in a talented teenager.
Wolves are set to make a push to get Birmingham City’s Ramello Mitchell, the Daily Mail claim. Mitchell (in the middle of the bottom row on the picture above) is a 16-year old striker who has been followed by multiple English academies, most notably those of two Manchester clubs, but also Southampton, Liverpool and Leeds United. He has been impressive with Birmingham City in both U16s and U18s and no wonder several academies are paying attention to his development.
Wolverhampton would like to get the deal done as soon as possible, as the club realizes it could face fierce competition from the above mentioned clubs.
