According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Wolverhampton Wanderers are ready to try again when it comes to their interest in AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie. Wolves put forward a late bid to try and sign the youngster during the summer transfer window, but were unable to get the deal over the finish line. While it appeared as if the saga had put them off the idea of signing Kessie, the ex-Atalanta star is still in their line of vision and talks are believed to be underway for the signing to go through once the January transfer window opens in a few months time.
Wolves are no strangers to doing business with Milan after bringing Patrick Cutrone over to Molineux, but if they want to go far in the Europa League then they’re going to need a little bit more strength in depth throughout the core of their squad, which goes without saying.
