According to Sky Sports, Wolverhampton Wanderers have arranged a bonus system for their squad – and they are set to get some big rewards if they can finish in the top half of the Premier League this season.
Wolves are currently 11th in the top flight after a strong start to the campaign with four wins, four draws and four losses, but the real headline is that their squad appears to be more than capable of doing some big things in the Premier League.
If they end up surviving relegation they will share a pot of £3 million, with a £10 million share if they end up finishing in the top 10. Nuno Espirito Santo is believed to be at the forefront of this idea, serving as an incentive for a side that are more than capable of reaching those kinds of heights.
A Europa League berth, while unlikely, would see the pot go up to £12 million.
