Wolverhampton Wanderers have today confirmed the signing of Adama Traore, who arrives from Middlesbrough in a deal believed to be worth around £18 million. The 22-year-old has been in high demand ever since becoming arguably the best player in the Championship over the course of the last twelve months, and now, the youngster has the chance to prove his doubters wrong in the Premier League.
It certainly won’t be an easy process and a quick turnaround will be expected with the opener against Everton coming up on Saturday, but Traore is certainly expected to do big things at Molineux. Traore will provide the kind of power and pace on the wing that the club so desperately needs, with Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho pulling the strings in the middle of the park.
Traore leaves Boro after spending two very successful years at the Riverside, where he was able to completely reinvigorate his young career.
