Wolves want Lille centre-back Sven Botman

Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing Sven Botman from Lille in the summer transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano. The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed on Twitter that Sevilla are also interested in the 21-year-old central defender.

Spanish club Sevilla are also considering a move for Botman if Jules Kounde joins Premier League club Chelsea, according to The Guardian and SkySport journalist.

Botman joined Lille from Ajax in 2020. The Netherlands Under-21 international central defender has scored one goal in three Ligue 1 games so far this season. During the 2020-21 campaign, the youngster played 37 times in the league, as Lille won the Ligue 1 title.
