According to Express & Star, Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing Divock Origi but want Liverpool to lower their asking price. Wolves went in for the Belgian forward during the summer but he proved to be too expensive, and they look set to ask the Reds whether or not they’d consider lowering his price tag down from £20 million.
Origi has struggled to break his way into a competitive Liverpool starting XI this season, and over the last few years his career has been very stagnant – which will be a disappointment to all parties involved. Still, he’s young and hungry and could have many more years left at the highest level, and a move to a club like Wolves who are on the rise in the Premier League could be exactly what he needs.
If not, we’re confident in saying that a series of other clubs around Europe would be more than willing to sign him.
