Honduras lead Group F of the 2009 World Youth Championship after a convincing 3-0 win over Hungary on Sunday.

Valerenga midfielder Mario Roberto Martinez was of great importance to the Central Americans, scoring in the 35th and 70th minutes to give his team a comfortable lead.

A third goal was added by 20-year-old Arnold Peralta in the 84th minute.

Honduras lead Group F ahead of South Africa and UAE, who held each other to a 2-2 draw earlier on Sunday.

Next Wednesday, Honduras play their second match against UAE while Hungary face a difficult task against South Africa.
