Worrall completes Rangers switch

Rangers have completed the season-long loan signing of Joe Worrall from Nottingham Forest, according to Sky Sports.

The defender will join the Scottish Premiership outfit for the remainder of the 2018/19 campaign, having not featured in any of Forest’s seven matches this season.

Since breaking into the Championship outfit’s first team, Worrall has racked up fifty-six appearances in all competitions, with his one and only goal for the club coming in a 3-2 win over Bolton Wanderers last December.

He also had a loan spell with Dagenham and Redbridge during the 2015/16 campaign where he played fifteen times, scoring once.

Internationally, he has been capped three times for England’s U21s while he was part of the U20 squad that won the Toulon Tournament last year.

Worrall could make his debut for Steven Gerrard’s side in Sunday’s Old Frim Derby at Celtic Park, with Rangers priced at 19/4 for the win.
