Daily Star is reporting that Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso is considering a return to English Premier League.
The Spain international has entered the final six months of his deal at Santiago Bernabeu and is free to negotiate a Bosman move with interested sides.
And Daily Star has learned that the Spaniard has been offered to the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea.
The player is determined to evaluate all options before making a decision on his future and he does seem to be inclining towards a move to England.
His former club Liverpool are also interested, although it remains to be seen whether the Reds can afford his £140,000 a week wages after handing a new contract to Luis Suarez.
Not surprisingly, Alonso’s suitors are involved in what is a very interesting title chase in English Premier League, with Manchester City 1/1 favourites at the moment.
