FC Porto star Yacine Brahimi will not be moving to Turkish Super Lig this summer, according to his official representative.
The Algerian has been linked with a move away from Estadio do Dragao for quite some time, with several top clubs interested in his services.
And while reports from Turkey suggested that Besiktas were ready to make their move, the player’s agent has ruled out a move to Super Lig.
“There is still one year left on the contract with FC Porto at the moment. I can only say that it is impossible for him to go to the Turkish league,” agent Luis Alonso told Le Buteur.
Brahimi has also seen sides like Bayern Munich, PSG and Arsenal cast admiring glances his way, and he is clearly hoping for a big club move.
The 28-year-old has been in fine form since arriving at Estadio do Dragao, and he managed 39 goals and 34 assists in 160 competitive appearances for the club.
