FC Porto midfielder Yacine Brahimi is almost certain to leave Estadio do Dragao in the January transfer window, A Bola has learned.

Not so long ago, the Algerian was one of world’s most sought-after footballers, and he was desperate to leave the Dragons for greener pastures in the summer.

Brahimi was subsequently dropped from the squad as the exit seemed on the horizon, but FC Porto eventually failed to receive a serious offer for his services.

The attacking midfielder has since returned to the side, but his performances of late have been quite disappointing, and the latest reports suggest FC Porto are desperate to offload the 26-year-old at the earliest opportunity.

The likes of AC Milan, Everton, Liverpool and Zenit were all showing interest in Brahimi over the last year or so, but it remains to be seen whether any of his suitors will come forward with an official proposal in January.
