Ukraine star Andriy Yarmolenko has ended speculation linking him with a big club move by extending his contract with Dynamo Kiev.
The 25-year-old has signed a new deal until June 2020 with the Ukrainian giants, in doing so snubbing interest from some of Europe’s top sides.
With his previous contract due to expire at the end of the season, Yarmolenko had been a target for both Chelsea and Barcelona, with Jose Mourinho flying to Ukraine to have a look at the winger in the Euro 2016 qualifier vs Spain.
But, against all odds, the highly rated footballer has committed his future to Dynamo Kiev, once again proving his loyalty to the club that was responsible for his football upbringing.
It takes just one look at Yarmolenko’s stats to realise what a cracking footballer he is, with the attacking midfielder having managed impressive 103 goals and 71 assists in 274 competitive appearances.
