Competition: Premier League
Market: Yaya Toure to stay at Man City
Odds: 1/4 @ William Hill
While Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has fuelled rumours of a summer exit after the World Cup, he’s still odds-on to remain at the Etihad for the 2014/15 season.
Toure recently backed up claims from his agent that he felt he wasn’t respected at Manchester City following alleged lack of celebration for his birthday this month.
But William Hill are still giving odds of 1/4 for the Ivorian to remain at Manchester City past this summer.
After enjoying the best return of goals in his entire career, Toure is hot property for a number of top European sides, with former side Barcelona & Paris Saint-Germain the favourites to procure his signature.
However, the 31-year-old still has three years to run on his current deal with the Sky Blues, and it’s highly likely the club will reject any transfer request put forward to them.
His value will still be very high after a superb campaign both individually and as a team, and his wages are among the highest in the Premier League which will put off potential suitors.
Bet: Manchester City‘s Yaya Toure to remain at the club despite end of season exit talk @ 1/4 with William Hill >>
