Manchester City star Yaya Toure has made it clear that he would seriously consider an offer from Marseille.
The Ivorian midfielder is finally set to leave the Citizens on a free transfer as his nightmare under Pep Guardiola is about to end.
However, Toure wants to play for another couple of years and he has no plans to move to an exotic destination just yet.
The veteran footballer seems to be keen on moving to Stade Velodrome and becoming a part of Marseille’s ambitious project.
“OM? This is the kind of challenge that I might like because they are building a nice project,” Toure told France Football.
“The adventure is at the beginning and to participate in this kind of operation is exactly my desire.
“Samir (Nasri) told me a lot about OM and told me a lot of good about it. I also admit that I really like a player from Marseille, Dimitri Payet.”
Yaya Toure, 35, has proved to be one of Man City’s best ever signings as he went on to produce 79 goals and 50 assists in 316 competitive appearances, but he only started one Premier League fixture last season.
