Yaya Toure going nowhere

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has insisted that Yaya Toure will not be sold in January, according to the Telegraph.

The Ivory Coast international, who was one of two City players to be sent off in Wednesday’s Champions League home defeat to CSKA Moscow, has so far struggled to replicate the form he showed last season this campaign, after scoring just three goals in seventeen appearances in all competitions.

French champions Paris Saint Germain have long been linked with a move for the 31 year old, though Pellegrini has no intention of doing business.

Having moved to Manchester from Barcelona in 2010, Toure has racked up one hundred and eighty-five appearances, scoring fifty-one goals and only Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge score more in the Premier League in the 2013/14 campaign.

City travel to Queens Park Rangers tomorrow afternoon, and can be backed at 1/2 to take all three points.
