Yaya Toure linked with China switch

The Telegraph understands that Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure could be set for a big money move China.

The Ivory Coast international has been linked with a switch to the Chinese Super Lig, which could see him net £30m-a-year.

Toure was sold to City from Barcelona by Pep Guardiola and the Spaniard is will take charge at the Etihad Stadium in the summer.

Under Guardiola, Toure won a host of major trophies including the La Liga title, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League before being let go in the summer of 2010.

He has made two hundred and fifty-two appearances in all competitions for the Citizens, scoring seventy goals while he has won two league titles, the FA Cup and the League Cup.

He could also be triumphant on four fronts this season, with his side still going strong in the Premier League, both domestic cups and in Europe.
