French midfielder Yohan Cabaye could remain at Selhurst Park beyond the current season, L’Equipe has revealed.
The 32-year-old will be out of contract in June and he was reportedly thinking about returning to France, where Marseille are keen on his services.
However, L’Equipe has learned that Cabaye is also ready to consider a new contract offer from Crystal Palace, with his agents scheduled to meet the club chiefs next week.
The Eagles had splashed out €15 million on the Frenchman three years ago, but the former Newcastle United and PSG midfielder did well to justify the money invested in his services.
Cabaye has since enjoyed three very successful Premier League campaigns, making 96 appearances and scoring 9 goals.
