Yokohama Marinos striker Hugo Vieira scores Goal of the Season contender in Japan (VIDEO)

It’s too early to make any calls with plenty of football ahead of us this season but Yokohama Marinos forward Hugo Vieira has definitely claimed the stake on Goal of the Season title with his belter against Sanfrecce Hiroshima.

The 29-year-old Portuguese scored a hat-trick to earn his team a 3-2 victory in the fourth round the Emperor Cup, but the third – at the same time the winning one for his team in the dying moments of extra time – is also the most beautiful one.
