Young linked with Watford return

Manchester United winger Ashley Young could be set for a return to Watford, according to the Metro.

The Hornets are one of a number of Premier League outfits eyeing a move for the England international, who has made just a handful of appearances for Jose Mourinho’s men this season.

Young left Vicarage Road ten years ago, moving to Aston Villa where he spent five seasons before switching to Old Trafford.

He has racked up almost one hundred and fifty appearances for the Red Devils in all competitions scoring fourteen goals, the last of which in a 3-1 win over Bournemouth – the final league game of last season.

He has seven goals in thirty appearances for his country but hasn’t received a call-up in over three years.

Manchester United beat Zorya 2-0 on Thursday evening in their final Europa League group game and are now favourites to win the competition at 9/2.
