The in-form Wolfsburg midfield star Yunus Malli is widely expected to leave the underperforming Bundesliga side this winter.
Wolfsburg are currently sitting in 11th place in the German top tier with only three wins next to their name after 14 rounds and will have the 25-year-old Turkish international to thank for keeping them afloat.
Malli made 13 Bundesliga appearances this term for Wolfsburg, scoring three four goals in the process but also putting in a number of commanding displays in the centre of the park.
His flying form has alarmed a host of Europe’s top clubs and Wolfsburg are likely to face a big challenge in attempt to keep hold of their biggest first-team star.
According to German media outlet Kicker, Wolfsburg could decide to let their hot-shot leave during the January transfer window but the interested parties will have to dig deep into their pockets and fork out no less than €45 million.
Malli joined Wolfsburg from Mainz two seasons ago and is contracted to his club until 2021 which gives Wolfsburg a huge leverage in possible transfer negotiations knowing they are under no rush to sell.
