Yusuf Yazici on Arsenal radar

North London giants appear to have identified the long-term replacement for contract rebel Mesut Ozil.

The German genius is running out of contract with the Gunners and Arsene Wenger is expected to sell his midfield star during winter in order to avoid risk losing him on free transfer at the end of the season.

And with Ozil already packing his bags, Wenger is actively looking for a replacement.

Turkish media report that one of the names that drew Wenger’s undivided attention is Yusuf Yazici, the 20-year-old midfielder.

The Turkish talent emerged through the ranks of Trabzonspor and has become one of the leading figures for his club over the past three years.

Arsene Wenger is said to have personally scouted Yazici who is said to be keen on a move to the Premier League.

Trabzonspor, however, are reluctant to let their starlet leave at this point in time and would rather keep him around for a bit longer to help his development.
