Zaha open to United move

Wilfried Zaha would be open to a move back to Manchester United should an offer from Old Trafford arrive, according to The Telegraph.

The winger has informed his current club of his desire to leave Selhurst Park this summer as he aims to be playing Champions League football in the future. Having finished the season in sixth place in the Premier League and without a European trophy, United are set to miss UEFA’s elite club competition in 2019/20, but Zaha will be hoping that his input may help put them on the right track again.

There is, however, still the problem of the fee Palace would be demanding to sell a player who has been vital for them and whose contract doesn’t run out for four more years. Apparently, the amount they want for Zaha is £100 million, and it remains to be seen whether they budge on the matter during the summer, or if United (or any other club) choose to pay that kind of money for the Ivorian.
