Crystal Palace have today confirmed that Wilfried Zaha has signed a contract extension that will take his deal through until 2023. The 25-year-old’s future has been up in the air for quite some time now, with many believing that he’d end up leaving Selhurst Park for pastures new. Alas, it seems as if the Ivory Coast international has no interest in moving elsewhere as he prepares to try and guide the Eagles towards another successful campaign under Roy Hodgson.
Zaha’s Palace journey began at the age of just 12 when he joined their youth setup, and even though he moved to Manchester United for a few years, it always felt like he never really left the club – with his two loan spells probably being a big reason for that.
Zaha scored against Fulham at the weekend and will be hoping to make a similar impact when Palace take on Liverpool on Monday Night Football.
