Wilfried Zaha has informed Crystal Palace of his wish to leave the club this summer, according to Sky Sports.
There had been plenty of speculative reports about the Ivorian’s future throughout the season, links with a number of top clubs kept appearing, and now, with the campaign over, he has apparently opened up on his desire for a change of scenery.
The 26-year-old had spoken before about his dream to play in the Champions League, and following an impressive Premier League season which saw him score 10 goals, he feels he is ready to perform at the biggest stage. Palace are reluctant to part ways with him, but with his intention to leave Selhurst Park made clear to them, they are likely to cash in on their prized asset.
Zaha signed a five-year deal only last summer, which puts the Eagles in a strong position to demand a large fee for his services.
