Crystal Palace have distanced themselves from speculation that winger Wilfried Zaha will return to the club on a temporary basis when the transfer window reopens, ESPN understands.
The England international looks set to be loaned out having failed to force his way into David Moyes first team since arriving at Old Trafford in the summer, with a whole host of clubs keen to secure his services.
However, Eagles boss Ian Holloway believes that his club aren’t in the running, having brought in Jason Puncheon, Jerome Thomas and Jimmy Kebe during the summer.
Newcastle United appears to be the winger’s most likely destination come January, while Stoke City, Southampton and Fulham have all also been linked.
Zaha is set to win his twelfth cap for England U21’s this evening as they take on Lithuania in their 2015 European Championship qualifier, and can be backed at 4/1 to get the first goal of the game.
