Zanetti hails strenght of Inter side

Inter Milan skipper Javier Zanetti believes the current team is the best there has been during his time at the club.

Zanetti is confident he can manage to lead Inter to a record fifth consecutive Serie A title this season.

“I have never seen the squad so complete,” Zanetti declared to Gazzetta dello Sport. “We have varying options in every part of the field and for numerous formations.

“I have never seen an Inter side as strong as this one in all my years with the Nerazzurri. The defence is now brimmed with talent, and as for up top we now have a monstrous pairing in Eto’o and Milito.”

He added: “The Champions League is certainly an important objective, but we certainly won’t be letting up in the Italian championship. Back in May we entered history by winning a fourth consecutive scudetto, if we manage a fifth we will enter folklore.”
