Former Liverpool winger Bolo Zenden has admitted that he could leave Sunderland at the end of the season.
The 33-year-old has failed to become a key player at Sunderland since joining the club on a free transfer at the start of October.
“I have been happy at Sunderland, but I am here to play and I would have liked more minutes on the pitch. That’s the way it goes,” he told the Sunderland Echo.
“I signed a one-season contract with the option of a second year.
“I don’t know if I will be staying; we haven’t started to talk about that, so we will have to see.”
