Catania coach Walter Zenga admits he is happy to be at the top of the Serie A, following their victory over local rivals Palermo.
Catania won the match 2-0.
“Of course I am happy,†said Zenga.
“To have 14 points from seven games is recognition for all the hard work done by everyone, from the lads to my staff.
“Those who work with me give everything they’ve got during the week and then every Sunday they bring out an extra fantastic performance.
“We are living a dream and it would be wonderful to carry on this experience as long as possible.â€Â
“We dedicate this success to the fans, who are always close to us and show their support,†continued Zenga.
“However, we must work hard to ensure we amass 40 points and avoid relegation. After that is secured, we will see what happens.
“The trouble comes for me now, as I have 25 players in my squad and have already fielded 22 of them. It will be very difficult to pick seven who must go to the stands each week.
“I am making life difficult for myself, but that’s the way I like it!â€Â
