(GSM) – Zenit St. Petersburg joined Spartak Nalchik at the top of the Russian league following a 0-2 victory at CSKA Moscow on Wednesday.
CSKA had a chance to go top themselves as a win would lead them past Nalchik.
But just five minutes had passed in the Russian capital when Ivica Krizanac put Zenit in the lead, and international Alexander Kerzhakov made it 0-2 five minutes after the hour.
As such, CSKA remain in third place with one points less than Nalchik and Zenit. Of the two leaders, Nalchik have the better goal record.
