Zenit St Petersburg are hot on the trail of Benfica wingers Nicolas Gaitan and Eduardo Salvio, according to Record.
The two sides are set to square off in the first leg of the Champions League first knockout stage, with the Eagles 11/10 favourites to win at Estadio da Luz.
The two clubs have already done plenty of business in the past and their fruitful cooperation could continue at the end of the season.
Namely, Zenit remain keen on long-term targets Nico Gaitan and Eduardo Salvio, both of whom can leave the club in case of a good offer.
The Argentine duo has been on the radar of top European clubs for quite a while, but Benfica have so far failed to receive a proposal they would deem sufficient.
It is clear that neither Gaitan nor Salvio will be available on the cheap, as they have €45m and €60m release clauses in their respective contracts.
