Zenit are weighing up a January bid for Rennes midfielder Yann M’Villa, according to L’Equipe.
Les Bretons have already come to terms with losing their star midfielder and are now looking to sell him to the highest bidder.
There have been no official offers for the highly rated player so far in the January transfer window, but the first proposal looks set to arrive.
L’Equipe has revealed that Zenit plan to bid up to €10 million for the France international.
The only problem is that M’Vila is not interested in Russia switch and would rather join one of the top European leagues.
Another team showing interest in the 22-year-old is QPR, but, once again, the player is not keen on joining a side that could easily get relegated at the end of the season.
Arsenal and few other top European clubs have been closely monitoring M’Vila this season, but it remains to be seen whether they will step up their interest before the transfer window closes.
