Zenit St Petersburg’s sporting director Igor Korneev has revealed that the club are keen to bring Russian forward Andrey Arshavin back to the club.
The 29-year-old has scored just four league goals in 21 games for Arsenal in the Premier League this season.
Reports have suggested that Arshavin could be on his way out of the Emirates Stadium, something manager Arsene Wenger has denied.
Zenit’s sporting director Igor Korneev said: “With Andrey, it is very simple. He graduated from our club and the doors are always open for him.
“We would always welcome him back to the club, whether that is now or in the future.”
