According to a recent report from Marca, Zinedine Zidane’s decisions regarding who starts games for Real Madrid have confused the higher-ups at the club in the early stages of the season. This is because Zidane decided not to feature any of their new signings, as Real hobbled towards a 1-1 draw against Real Valladolid.

Many fans and pundits alike believe that this strengthens the claims that there is some kind of disconnect between Zidane and the other individuals above him that he is having to deal with on a day to day basis.

A few injuries have ensured that it was always going to be a makeshift start to the campaign for Real, but even with that being the case, there’s a great deal of uncertainty at the Bernabeu – especially with the rumour mill suggesting that another big acquisition, Neymar, is just a matter of days away from joining the club.
