“It’s silly, nobody can take something out of my mouth that is false. I want Bale to stay here until the end of the season.”

According to a recent report from Marca, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has denied reports that suggest he wants Gareth Bale to leave the club during the January transfer window. The above quotes certainly seem to suggest that he isn’t best pleased by the rumours, but at this stage in proceedings, a lot of fans don’t really know what they can and can’t believe from the Frenchman.

At one point it seemed like Real had offered Bale to Manchester City in exchange for Raheem Sterling, which certainly seemed like it came out of left field.

Whatever the case may be, this saga is far from being resolved, which is the most frustrating part for all parties considering how long it has already been dragged out for at this point.
