Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane has refused to rule out the possibility of adding Neymar to his ranks.
Los Blancos reportedly remain in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over the controversial Brazilian, and those talks have now apparently moved to an advanced stage. The 27-year-old forward has been left out of PSG’s 3-0 over Nimes which was their Ligue 1 opener, with Kylian Mbappe, Edinson Cavani and Angel Di Maria all on target. While his absence served as a catalyst for various rumours, coach Thomas Tuchel said it was merely due to injury.
As quoted by Sky Sports, the Frenchman simply said that even though Neymar wasn’t a part of Real’s squad at the moment, anything can happen before the window closes on September 2nd. On the other hand, he also mentioned Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez as members of the squad, but then he repeated his stance that anything can change as long as the window remains open.
