According to a recent report from Marca, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has not given up hope of signing Paul Pogba from Manchester United. Zidane is incredibly interested in signing the Red Devils midfielder, and has been throughout most of the summer transfer window. Pogba will be prioritised above the potential signings of Christian Eriksen and Donny van de Beek, both of whom Real have been a bit hot and cold on in the last few months.

The French World Cup winner isn’t shy when it comes to letting the world know what he thinks of his own playing abilities, and in equal measure, Zidane is more than happy to heap the praise on him.

Real have always seemed like they’ve got one or two more tricks up their sleeve, even after they managed to lure Eden Hazard to the Bernabeu. Now, it’s just a case of whether or not they can beat the clock.
