Zidane set to leave Real Madrid?

According to a recent report from Marca, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is coming to the end of his time as manager.

For the second time, it appears as if the Frenchman is going to be leaving the Bernabeu – and it doesn’t seem as if that’s going to be his decision this time around.

After Real were knocked out of the Copa del Rey by a third tier side it really does seem like the tide is turning, with Zidane’s former successes being largely forgotten in favour of the calamity that has been this season.

While he may still be an exceptionally talented manager in his own right, it just doesn’t feel like things have clicked into place for him this time. From being behind the pace in the La Liga title race to their poor performances in other competitions, the time may well have come for him to move on to something different.
