Zidane set to negotiate with 11 Real players

According to a recent report from Marca, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is set to negotiate the future of 11 different players during the summer transfer window.

Real’s Champions League campaign came to an abrupt end at the hands of Manchester City last week, and now, many are questioning not only the ceiling of this Real side – but of all major La Liga contenders in Spanish football.

Zidane is the kind of manager who has never been shy when it comes to making changes within his own squad, and we can’t imagine he’s going to be hesitant in pulling the trigger if some players are deemed surplus to requirements at the Bernabeu this summer.

While they may have been able to reclaim the aforementioned La Liga title from rivals Barcelona, we’re not so sure that’s a great indicator for them when you go on to examine what they’re capable of on the European stage.
