Zidane wants new Real Madrid striker

According to a recent report from AS, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is eager to sign a new striker after Luka Jovic’s departure.

Jovic made his way back over to Eintracht Frankfurt on a loan deal, giving him some time away from the Bernabeu after his questionable start to life in Spain. Jovic was considered to be the answer to many of Real’s prayers, but at this stage, his tenure looks more like a nightmare than anything else.

Zidane hasn’t exactly been shy within the context of bringing in new faces during the January or summer transfer window, but many do wonder just how committed he is to the idea of spending lots of money right now – especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jovic has time to turn things around upon his eventual return to Madrid, but the club needs solutions in the here and now, and Zidane is the man who needs to fix their problems.
