French daily newspaper L’Equipe has learned that Napoli are set to complete the signing of French midfielder Zinedine Machach.
The talented youngster has agreed a four-and-a-half year deal with the Azzurri that will be signed after he passes a medical later today.
Machach will immediately join the first team squad as head coach Maurizio Sarri wants to assess the player before possibly loaning him out to another Italian club.
The 22-year-old had his contract at Toulouse terminated after famously attacking reserve coach Denis Zanko and he is now set to join Napoli on a free transfer.
Machach had amassed a total of 31 Ligue 1 appearances, having also enjoyed a short loan spell with Marseille.
