West Ham manager Gianfranco Zola insists he will resist the urge to field a weakened when they take on Hartlepool in the FA Cup.
“The FA Cup is a wonderful competition and I would like to honour it,” said Zola. “I will always try to play my best team, no matter what the circumstances are. “Some managers may have different priorities and they can do whatever they want because that is not really my business.
“But I respect Hartlepool and I respect the competition. I know Hartlepool are a decent side. West Ham certainly won’t put out a weakened team.”
